Judges Award for "Neatness Counts"

Construction notes:
I'm a big fan of the Final Fantasy series and Fran is a pretty awesome character. I decided on her artbook version since she was... covered. :D

The dress and bolero areplain ol' cotton. The entire outfit was draped/fitted, lined and interfaced. It was quite the small adventure with the pointed sleeves. That was probably the hardest part or at least the part that I loathed. The capris are cotton knit. Since the style was "in", it was easy to find a pattern for them. Go McCalls! ^^

The wig is actually 2 different wigs sewn together. I bought a wig from Cosworx and one from ProffesionalOnly on ebay. Both are really nice quality. The eary are attached to a thick headband under the wig. They are made of faux fur, sharpied (leftover from the Burger King costume) and microsuede. I used heavy interfacing that you find in pocketbooks in order to keep the up as well as a dowel rod. It's one of the easiest wigs to wear. It never slides around because od the headband. I can even bend down and it still stays on my head. Score! lol

At AUSA, the bangs were bothering my one eye so I flipped them to the other side, hence why they are not OMGACCURATE! >>
